Mixed tapes...
But not the kind with songs from the 70's and 80's.
I wonder where all mine have gone anyway? Not that I have any way to listen to them now, but it would be cool to have them. I guess at some point I must have just decided to CHUCK them?!
But I ramble....
These mixed tapes are something of the latest and greatest. Heidi Swapp introduced some a few years ago. I loved them then. Still have some too - not chucking them! No way. More recently 7 Gypsies have introduced some that remind me of masking tape, and Pink Paislee have some very groovy designs and if I ever stop into a stationary store like I did recently in LA, I'm sure to find some very interesting Asian tapes like these from Kamoi! (Secretly, my favorite, but don't tell the other children.)
So it was happy news that the challenge at Crop Suey for this month is to use tapes. Any kind, any way. I altered the Making Memories butterflies with Pink Paisley tapes and the top and bottom of the layout are edged with 7 Gypsies tapes.
This card was also done for Crop Suey, using one of the keyUTE! digi stamps from Digi Stamp Characters that Heather so generously gave us to play with!! And of course, some tape! Heidi Swapp's and some Pink Paislee.
You should join us at Crop Suey - make your card, layout or altered project using tapes, and link it up at the Crop Suey blog for a chance to win something awesome!!!
Lovely Norine!! I am just getting into tape, I love just about every kind I am coming across!
