Homes of their own...

I'm sharing another layout today that uses the Crate Paper - Wonder line.  I posted it awhile back on the Love is in the Details site, if you're thinking it looks awfully familiar.

In the last few years our house has emptied right out, and if I think about it too long I could get melancholy, but to be honest, there are a few positives.  Top of the list is a bunch of guest rooms waiting for guests!  Recently a bunch of the boys (sons and nephews) came home for a week of golf and we were reminded of what those positives were again!  

One good thing though, is to see them all settled in their various places.  Three have bought their first homes, and those houses are ALL SO CUTE!!  The other loves his life where he is and has no interest in leaving there.  These are things to be celebrated after providing food, clothing and shelter for so many years.  Among other things like pizza, wheels and education.  NBD.

So obviously the Wonder line was perfect for these photos and theme.  I fussy cut the row of houses at the top from one of the papers in this line.

I also used a bunch of old Elle's Studio tags and journal cards from my considerable stash.

Another positive about the chicks all having their own nests now...is they are all located in states or provinces that get snow.  So you KNOW where they like to come visit!  Win/win!
