Summer has "fallen"....
Hello friends! Time to catch up again, huh? While I've been blog-absent, I've not been gone altogether, so I have lots to show you! Lets start with the most recent....this set of autumn Thank You cards.
I used WPlus9 Autumn Leaves stamps with my Caran D'ache water soluble wax pastels. It had been too long and I just decided to pull them out and play with them!
I started by coloring random fall shades onto the solid shape stamps, misting them with water and stamping. Where necessary, I used a paint brush to help the colors blend.
Then I stamped the outline stamps with Versamark ink and gold heat embossed them. I didn't have to try very hard to make the outlines skewed from the colored part...that loosey-goosey style of stamping lends itself to this "messy" look very well.
I added gold, heat embossed sentiments, with some gold thread trapped below and some wood-grain sequins for just-because.
I'm posting this card set on the Simon Says Stamp Work-It Wednesday challenge link, as well as the Just For Fun and Hiding In My Craftroom fall colors challenges.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Loosey-goosey lovely!!!
