papertrey ink blog hop...
I'm in card-making mode this month, what with The Daily Marker coloring challenge going on all month, so contrary to what I usually do, where I just bookmark the inspiration photos to my desktop and never do anything more with them, I actually made a card this month so I could participate in the monthly blog hop going on today with Papertrey Ink! (My English teacher always red-inked my papers for run-on sentences, but I really don't know what the big deal is...I rather like them actually, and it's how I talk anyway, so...)
Here are the month's inspiration for the blog hop....some gorgeous prints by Victoria Johnson.
And here's the card I made inspired by these prints:
I used the Papertrey Ink Tropics stamp set and heat embossed with a variety of colored embossing powders I've had since Washington was a lad.
Thanks for stopping by today! Enjoy the rest of the hop!
What a great combination of embossing powders and colors! Great card!
ReplyDeleteWOW - stunning card! LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteJust love what you did with the Tropics set, wonderful all over pattern! I think the intensity of the embossing was the perfect choice. And that gold leaf, fabulous!!!

ReplyDeleteGreat results! Lovely card!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool, just love how you used the Tropics stamps with embossing powders! I don't know if it was intentional or not, but to me the gold leaf mimics the bird...
