Hi, hello!
Today is a busy one! We're hopping with Jane's Doodles to showcase the new Christmas release and there are some good ones, let me tell you. The first three shown below are the new releases, the Merry Christmas set was previously released but compliments the new sets beautifully!
Good news is, there's a sale on for the hop - 20% off all clear stamp sets, and, AND, leave a comment and one hopper will win each of the 3 newly released Christmas sets!
You should be arriving here from Galina's blog, but if not, you can start at the beginning at Jane's blog and hop from there.
My first card today uses stamps from the Driving Home for Christmas set. I love build-able sets, where the configurations of images are limited only by your imagination. So I have an owl towing a sled piled with gifts. Because that happens. I also made it snow with white heat embossed snowflakes on a Distress Oxide blended and water speckled background.
Next, I have a card with a background that uses all of the sentiment stamps from Driving Home for Christmas, Deck the Halls and Merry Christmas. I also stamped and heat embossed with silver, some of the ornaments in the Deck the Halls set. I stamped on vellum and colored on the backside with Sharpies and Copics.
The next inspiration you'll see on the hop is at the blog of the incomparable and unmatched Jennifer McGuire! I can't wait to see what she's created with these stamps! I'll race you over there!!
Have a wonderful day!
