Two. Count 'em, TWO! exciting things today....

First up is the My Little Shoebox Heartfelt blog hop!

Now, you should have arrived here from Nicole's blog. If you've just happened here by chance then you'll want to start back at the beginning, at the MLS blog!

Heartfelt is the latest line MLS has released and it's a bit of a departure from the usual "look" of MLS, but *drooooool* it is so gorgeous to work with!!

Add to that yumminess, we all used this sketch by our own Melinda Spinks for inspiration!
This here's the layout I did. I used that fun Mr Huey (white) to mask the background paper, put the flower shaped die cut through the Cuttlebug embossing folder, and distressed the edges of everything. Basically.
Next stop along the hop is Pattie's blog! And if you follow the hop all the way to the end and back to My Little Shoebox, leaving feedback along the way, and then make your own layout based on this sketch and link it up back at My Little Shoebox, you'll get the chance to win your very own Heartfelt collection! How cool is that?! Deadline is June 5th.

And now for the 2nd thing on the agenda!! Want to make your own stick pins?
Or put a different twist on some of the extreme excessiveness of embellishments you have? And no I'm definitely not saying that like it's a bad thing! Options are always good.
Head on over to Crop Suey to see my tutorial on these fun pins!
