Mixed tapes and '75 Mavericks...

It's all about the paper tapes over at Scrap Your Crap this month!! And with my collection and love for the stuff, this is a challenge that makes me very happy!! Have you fallen into that pit of happiness yet? If so, you'll want to join us over there, making a project that uses TAPE. Lots or a little.

Here's the layout I made. It's about the car that Mr B and his brothers drove to school back in the olden times. A 1975 Ford Maverick. Or Mav'rick if you've used all the "e's" in that alphabet. They also "customized" it. Spray painted the recessed license plate area matte black. Cuz they were that cool!
Be sure to check out the rest of the design teams' inspo and then link us up to your creation too!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

  1. Tee hee, love your creativity of how to creatively spell a name when a letter is missing.
I think this is my fave layout this month. Love the colour scheme, the overall design and the use of tapes

  3. Norine, this is such a wonderful page- I love so many things about it! I had to chuckle over how you changed the spelling, but it sure was clever! Wow, 1975.... this really takes me back to some fun memories. And I can tell "Mr. B and his brothers" certainly were "cool" ;-) You have definitely inspired me to dig out some similar photos and make some fun pages myself. Thanks for all the great inspiration. Oh and yes- the tapes look great here :-)
