Happy Hoopla...

How are you doing with the Challenge Me Happy Birthday Hoopla challenges?  Did you check out the prizes being given away!?  A Big Shot machine and two Tim Holtz dies from The Scrappin' Patch!?  That would sure get me pulling out my adhesives and scissors!!  And that's not even to mention the individual prizes being given by each of the DT!

I thought I'd show you the layouts I did for a few of the challenges.  I haven't yet had time to do them all, but here's what I've got so far.

Lisa is proposing using the advertisement below as a jumping off point to inspire a layout.

Here's the layout I did for it.  It's a 12"x18" layout.  I like to do those once in a while when I use lots of photos and don't want to lose the design element amongst them.

And here is the advert.

Hannah is challenging us to use this recipe:
1 stamp
2 staples
3 cardstock
4 words in the title
5 patterned papers (Shh, I can't count so I have a couple more than I should.  The design demanded it, what could I do??)
6 stickers.
Plus journaling, ink, mist, paint, any number and size of photos.

And this is what came from that.

Annelie, our proud and fearless leader, is challenging us to use this photo to inspire a layout.  Love that brick wall, right?

I used the layers on the shelf as well as the word placement to inspire this:

And of course, there is my birthday challenge.  Just do any kind of a birthday page.  Take it from there!

As soon as I returned from gadding about yet again (this time to my Home and Native Land...Canada) I will take and post a photo of what I am offering for a RAK for doing my challenge!  I promise to make it worth your while!!  It MAY even include some Copics!!  Be sure to post your layouts for each of the challenges at the Challenge Me Happy blog, rather than on each of our individual blogs!

  4. Oooh, I'm so glad I dropped by for a peek! All of your creations are just lovely, I particularly like your hexagons on the recipe challenge. So inspiring are all of the DT samples that I'm gonna play this month, not just sit back and admire, but pull out my stash and play just for fun! Thanks for sharing xx
