Hello, finally!

Heavens to Murgatroid!  It's been over a month since blogging anything here!!  Happily, it's not because of a lack of interesting things to blog about so here goes the catch up!

There's still time to join our most recent challenge at Challenge Me Happy!  #49 is a song challenge to find some inspiration in Rhianna's song Umbrella.  Here's the layout I did for it.

The city buildings stamp is one that came in a Studio Calico monthly kit.

To get this subtle coloration I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink with the foam pads and just lightly brushed and layered on the colors overlapping slightly into each neighboring color.  Then I splattered water drops over the ink to "lift off" the color and leave the blank splotches behind.  LOVE the results!
