An announcement and a blog hop...

Hello friends!  I've had a secret I've been busting to share and today I finally can!  I'm delighted to tell you that I've been invited to join the design team of Jane's Doodles!  As you can see by visiting the site and store, Jane is a crazy talented artist and her stamps are SO, so, so fun and cute and lovely!  A few weeks back I received a fun packet of stamps in the mail and just had to dive right in!

Today we're hosting a blog hop to showcase these three stamp sets:

The sets are very versatile so I made a variety of occasion cards besides a Mother's Day card. (I've never been prepared so far in advance!)

My first card was stamped and embossed on vellum, then colored with Sharpie markers on the back side, and layered over a streaky blue background paper.

For this next card, I blended the new Distress Oxide Inks by Tim Holtz onto the flower images, and lightly splattered them with water before cutting them out and adhering them onto dictionary paper.

This card is my favorite!  I filled in a whole card panel with the floral images, heat embossed with white embossing powder and then water color painted in a very loose and happy fashion.

Your next stop on the hop is Neha's blog.

You have a chance to win a stamp set of your choice by leaving a comment on each of the blogs in the hop! (The winner will be announced on Monday.)  As well, all clear stamp sets are 25% off through the weekend.

Here is the blog hop order in case of any broken links:
ME! (smiley face!)

Enjoy the rest of the hop and have a great day!
