Day 9 of the #12daysofholidaygiftwrap....

Hi folks!  Back again with a couple of bags to share today!  These examples are extremely versatile - meaning, they might look more like sweet, birthday or mother's day gift bags, but the concepts translate really well to Christmas packaging.

Once again, the bags are run through a Big Shot in an embossing folder and then layered up with die-cuts and other embellishments.

This first card has a fancy edge die-cut top, cut from both the paper bag itself, as well as a piece of coordinating patterned paper to layer below it.

All the supplies used are pictured below.

This card uses three different but coordinating Washi tapes at the top and bottom, as well as the Kaisercraft die-cut ephemera pieces.

Supplies pictured below.

You can see that these bags are both very simple in design and easy to create.  But no one would deny, that receiving a gift in one of these packages would be a truly special and memorable thing!

We still have a couple of more days/ideas to share so be sure to come back again tomorrow!
